Dappy is actually called Costadinos Contostavlos. He is best known for being the lead singer of N-Dubz, with Tulisa and Fazer (Richard Rawson). He was born on 11th June 1987 in Camden Town, North London. Dappy is well known for his wooly hat. In September 2011, he announced that N-Dubz were taking a break, in order for Tulisa to take up a judges role on the TV show ‘The X Factor’, and for Dappy to work on his solo career. He is currently making an album, which is due to be released in late 2011/ early 2012. In reference to this album he said, “I don't think there's any shame in trying to write music that will be recognised by people I admire, like Adele. Even Bono. I have big goals. I want to have two No. 1 singles back-to-back as a solo artist.”
